Site Acquisition Manager/Verizon DSW Account. Responsibilities include managing SAQ, Zoning, and A&E for AWS/PCS upgrades for Verizon DSW market. 

AT&T/MYCOM North America                 2012 - 2014             

Site Acquisition Manager for AT&T Western US Turf projects including NSB, LTE, MODS and generators. Manage teams composed of site acquisition/zoning/compliance personnel and contractors.

LightSquared/BCI Communications, Inc. (Arizona)     2010-2011

Project Director for AZ market for LightSquared Project. Responsible for project management, site acquisition, entitlements, and construction of initial build out of launch build market. Also responsible for Vendor/3^rd Party contracting and performance evaluation.

T-Mobile/Kineticom (AZ)             2010

Contracted with carrier to manage real estate for market AAV project to bring fiber to existing sites. Worked with landlords, jurisdictions, state agencies, contractors and fiber provider to manage entitlements of underground utilities and equipment.

Alan Waters Consulting LLC (Western US)      2008-2009

Independent consultant working in project management, site acquisition management, and A&E management. Clients included Verizon Wireless, AT&T Mobility, Reliant Land Services, Richland Towers, GDIT, Goodman Networks and Black & Veatch.

Richland Towers (Nationwide)      2005-2009

Contracted for project management, site acquisition, entitlements, and site development for nationwide Broadcast Tower company. Assembled and managed teams in markets for new tower construction and enhancements to existing towers. Sites included self-support as well as guyed towers to 1,999ft. AGL.

Contract Site Acquisition Manager. Clients included wireless carriers, broadcast tower companies, and Motorola distributors. Project included PCS, broadcast towers deployment, and emergency services site builds.

Communication Services, Inc. (Nationwide) 2002 – 2004

Site Acquisition Manager for turnkey tower development company including A&E services. Clients included regional and national wireless carriers, Motorola, General Dynamics, municipalities, and tower companies.

Edge Wireless/AT&T Mobility (CA, OR, ID, and WY) 2000 - 2002

Deployment Project Manager for launch build of initial 350+ site TDMA system including base stations, MW backhaul, POP’s, and switch. Managed staff of 70 professionals which included employees and acquisition, entitlement, and construction contractors.

Metricom/Ricochet (AZ) 1999 - 2000

Local Market Manager (Oversight Project Manager) for Metricom broadband launch build of Phoenix MTA. Responsible for contractor oversight, A&E contracts and management, base station development and construction, government relations, bulk power and ROW attachment agreements for microcellular radios.

Nextel(AZ) 1998 - 1999

Site acquisition and zoning specialist for Phoenix Nextel office. Assisted with MLA’s for power company co-locations. Leased and zoned difficult in-fill sites.

Salt River Power and Water/SRP (AZ) 1996 - 1998

Coordinated legal and construction engineering departments regarding SRP land interests and assets. Worked with ADOT identifying SRP land rights for extensive highway construction projects. Assisted Telecommunications Department with land rights research for attachment of wireless carrier facilities on SRP assets.

Owner of commercial real estate development and property management firm. Engaged in all phases of commercial development for clients and partners including office, retail, and industrial properties for suburban markets.

Designated Broker for Bellevue, Washington office. Assisted with sales management and developer relations. Brokered office, retail, and industrial sales and leases. 

Vyzis Development Company (WA)   1980 - 1986

VP Acquisitions/Marketing/Property Management for startup commercial development company that grew to over 2.5 million square feet of developed ownership during tenure. Included office, retail, and industrial speculative and build-to-suit projects. Successfully negotiated long term leases and BTS contracts with Fortune 500 and regional companies.
